Or maybe he's both! [Cue 'Rampant Douchebaggery is Compulsory' bit]

A while ago I saw a reversed hemospectrum AU where a change in caste ranking mostly means everyone's gotten a lobotomy wherein the highbloods are all noble martyrs and the lowbloods are all basically mad with power and - what about rampant douchebaggery do you not understand. Eridan isn't some kind of noble freedom fighter; he's the dickhead who turns dating into political praxis.
