A Normal Lost Phone is exactly what it says--it's a found-phone game (which is apparently a genre now?). Regardless, the concept is certainly interesting in the blend of trans-medium epistolary narratives. I've seen it theorized that the epistolary game is coming across someone else's save file, and while I agree, a game comprised of other epistolary formats put in an inherently interactive form is certainly an interesting take on the concept of 'epistolary games'.

The story told by the game is--well, I'm loathed to spoil it, especially considering how affordable the game is, but it involves queer themes, which is certainly nice. I think it touches on them fairly well, though I'm hardly the final voice on the kind of story told by the game. Mild Mechanical Spoilers )
